I tried both Medium and Large and ended up going with the Large for the torso length. I'm 5'9 160 lbs. Wore daily in mid-day Costa Rica sun for about a week and it was perfect for keeping me from being too roasted, and allowed me to stay in the water for longer than an hour each session. The brim on the hood works great for helping to keep the sun out of your eyes when waiting on sets. Very form fitting and can be a little challenging to take off at first, but be patient and try not to stretch it out too much with your elbows when pulling it over your head. It dries pretty quickly and is ready for the next session when you are. Overall, great rash guard and I'd highly recommend it.

I'm half way through our 2 week trip to the French Polynesian Islands. The Long Sleeve Hooked Rashguard has been essential piece of gear in my snorkeling kit. I would say that I am an intermediate level snorkeler and have been pushing my body daily whilst exploring the shallow depths of Moorea and Bora Bora. I soak and rinse my rash guard in the sink at the end of every day and by morning it's ready for another day. The hood definitely protects the top and back of my head while I'm face down looking underwater. I doubt that there's a better piece of gear to wear for this activity.

Product landed as requested. It's well made and looks as if it will last. I'm 6' weigh 185 and generally wear a Large. This large is REALLY snug; basically a compression shirt. It should be OK for snorkeling but feels uncomfortable for normal rash-guard wear to me.
