Caprylyl Glycol

Another via CDF that I wasn’t able to find elsewhere, now obsessed! It’s packaged in a bottle, and was liquid on arrival. Beyond just boosting preservatives, caprylyl glycol adds noticeable softness & skin conditioning to formulas, helps reduce soaping (at least in some formulas), and can multitask as a masking agent due to its inert scent, which I’d describe as “aggressively neutral” — a helpful surprise!
