Received this reel a couple months ago and it definitely does exactly what it's designed to do you can cast this reel directly into the wind with no backlash, skipping docks is easy with this reel as well, doesn't cast as far as some of the higher end reels but that's to be expected. The last couple of trips gave it to my girlfriend to use never casted a baitcaster before In her life and she never had any problems at all, definitely recommend this reel to new fisherman or anyone that has problems casting into the wind or skipping docks.

This real is super smooth and the casts are unbelievable!! All filler, no fluff. The hype is legit.
