I get pretty easily overstimulated by loud and/or repetitive noises, especially if it's like dogs barking or kids crying or a really loud alarm ringing (and especially if I'm already overwhelmed in other ways). Usually to deal with this I'd have to put in headphones or earbuds and blast music super loud to drown it out, because even just putting in the earbuds would muffle things but muffle everything equally? So that I could still hyper-fixate on whatever annoying sound and it would drive me over the edge. Honestly I was kind of a little skeptical that these would help in those exact scenario because I thought there was no way I'd be able to not have the music to drown out the rest of the sound. However, I've found that they way exceeded my expectations and somehow muffle all of the background noise to a quieter degree than things right next to me. My upstairs neighbors have a dog and the day after I got these it was barking too loud and I was woken up by it in the morning and usually I have a really hard time falling back asleep if its still going, but I was able to slide these in and it was muffled enough that I could still vaguely hear it, but the irritating edge was way taken off and I fell right back asleep in a few minutes. They're also super comfortable, usually earbuds get uncomfortable after a little while and same with over-ear headphones, but I haven't had any issues with these. I also bought the loop link thing so that I can pretty much constantly have it around my neck for access at any time, and it's been super useful; they stay on the link and don't have issues falling off, and the link itself has pretty strong magnets so I'm not concerned about it slipping off my neck even when I sleep either (though its not a choking risk because if I roll over and pull on it or something the magnets would separate). So I just have it constantly around my neck dropped inside my sweatshirt or something and have found it incredibly easy to pull out and put in when I have sensory issues. The case they came in is also super tiny and I keep it on my keychain! Obviously I haven't really needed to use it since they're on my neck at all times, but it's smaller than I even expected, like maybe the size of two quarters in diameter? So if you don't want them around your neck it would be easy to carry around. All in all, definitely recommend! Even if you sometimes just get a bit overwhelmed in a loud room, this has helped massively with that and I don't have to leave to take a walk or anything like that to get some quiet.

I wear them at my work at the reception desk behind a glass, where myself and 3 coworkers answer phonecalls and raise our voices so clients on the other side of the glass can hear us. The engage 2 earplugs help but don't block enough of the loudness for my taste, even with the larger ear tips. I think I'll need a stronger plug. (my office also should invest in sound-absorbing panels...) I can put the plugs in my ears and comfortably put the phone receiver on top. Though of course it muffles the caller's voice, so the softer-spoken ones are difficult to hear, so I take the earplug out. The plugs came in the pictured case with 4 sizes of ear tips in a hard plastic case. I also ordered the loop link cord with the magnetic ends. It came in a soft flexible plastic pouch you pinch to open. The rubber ends that holds onto the plugs is soft; I thought they were stiff so it was a nice surprise. The cord is braided fibers that's very soft and flexible. I find the cord essential because I'm constantly putting the plugs in and out all day. So the products are great quality, but the the loop engage 2 doesn't muffle the volume of 3 loud people behind a glass wall enough for my taste.

They just do not fit
I have tried almost all the sizes except the large tips. The medium was too big, the smalls and xsmalls fall out. They sometimes just hook into my ear, but they are not close enough to work. Unfortunately, I have always had issues with ear buds never fitting. I would love to see custom ear tips on this website then maybe I would change my tune.
