I gave peas a chance!
First year growing shelling peas on the coast! Even with our cool and sometimes sunless weather the Sienna's produced alot of pods. The plants grew up my 4' trellis and reached up to 6' in a raised bed. I companion planted them with Sugar Daddy Snaps and Delicata squash. Next season I will plant them all by their lonesome and plant more!

A pretty good pea
With our crazy early hotter than normal weather , my peas
had a shorter period of cool weather…. Even so these peas did quite well

Best Pea
Best shelling pea I have ever grown. LOTS of pods, with many peas. Mighty tasty, too. Love them raw or cooked.
