It is such a joy to receive a package from The Crewel Work Company. Beautifully presented and the thrill of carefully opening the tissue paper to reveal the glorious colours. Gawthorpe Pomegranate Kit is my fourth and I feel I am relaxing and enjoy the challenge of new stitches. This design was chosen by my Granddaughter as her 25th Birthday present.

Second time around

Loved this design so much l am redoing it. The first time I put it on the lid of my big sewing box, attaching a gold cord around each of the sumptuous pomegranates and this time it will be framed for the wall. All Phillipa's kits are top quality and irresistible to anyone who loves historical embroidery especially. When each box comes, you are transported into the wonderful world of crewel and can look forward to many hours of pleasure and creativity as a member of this needlework family. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Lovely Colours and Great Design

My wife Sheila bought this kit for me as a present as I have a completed a number of other Crewel Work Company kits. It is one of the best kits I have had, the colours are really bright and the design is fantastic. The size was right too, not too much sewing and not too daunting a prospect to start. As always the contents of the kit were high quality and there was more than enough wool to complete the picture. Fantastic product, please keep them coming. Kevin
