I’ve been wanting to learn crewel for ages. It literally felt like an act of self-care to open this kit, as it was exquisitely and expertly packaged. The wool is gorgeous. I followed along with the free YouTube videos as I was getting started. I also purchased the deluxe starter kit, and feel that the hoop and stand are critical. I am on my third feather now, and my skill and confidence are growing—especially with the soft shading. In addition to a beautiful product, I very much appreciate the work of The Crewel Work Company, as it has given me access to an art form from over 3000 miles away. I am incredibly inspired by their work and will definitely be purchasing another kit.
