love my Alpine speaker set for my 2018 Wrangler, replaced both sets of speakers with the SPV-65X, install was easy, literally plug and play, install video was perfect and these sound great with the Alpine iLX head unit and a 100W powered sub from Rockville Audio

Plug and Play - East to install.

I installed these into my 2012 JK with the older ILX-I207 Alpine head unit. The sound is far superior to the stock speakers. I chose these over other speakers because of the plug-and-play functionality. This made it extremely quick and easy to swap out the speakers. The new speakers sound full and rich. Note to all planning to swap out speakers on your own. Once the physical speaker install is done your new speakers will NOT sound good till you set up the head unit. For me, this meant resetting all the source levels to match: 1. Starting with the lowest sounding then one by one making the other source levels the same by ear. 2. Once I was happy with all the levels I raised the main volume till the sound started to distort. 3. I then backed it back down till the distortion stopped 4. Next you need to adjust the Amp output volume up so you can raise the main volume as close to the max volume. (Repeat steps 1-4 till I could reach max volume without distortion for me 50% amp volume.) All head units will be different. For my configuration, the Alpin ILX-i207 hid the amp adjustments deep in the configuration. Under System/Factory System Setup/Maestro Module/Maestro Settings/Factory Amp Settings – 10% to 100%
