Widdershins (Whyborne & Griffin 1) - HARDCOVER

This perfectly paced (in my opinion) novel is packed with action, mystery and romance. The world building and magic system are so well done. The characters are loveable, and some are loathsome too. Hawk is a master at building up anticipation and rewarding the reader with an intensity, be it in the form of passionate romance or thrilling action. The climax gave me goosebumps, even after my second read. The covers of these 10th anniversary editions are absolutely stunning! I was going to put them on my bookcase, but decided that they deserve to be displayed in the middle of my living room instead.

So gorgeous and SO high quality! I got the whole set and they look stunning all together. The actual feel of the hardcover is like a silky matte finish and just feels really good when holding!
