Rings a Nice Ding
I used it for the first time from about 50 feet away as I was rounding a downhill turn (not fast… but faster than a walker’s pace for sure). I pulled down on the hammer and was surprised how loud it was. However it was a wide open space, and the sound could have dissipated into the ether. But No… this thing definitely caught the walker’s attention… and it was a good thing, because they had a ‘security-type dog’, and I definitely didn’t want to surprise them. So, I managed to ride past them, said “Thanks” because the lady moved over closer to her man, and the dog didn’t lunge at me to tear away my flesh. — Well done, Comet Bell.
