Campus 14L

I have been wanting to invest in a pair of Campus boots for many, many years. I’m so glad I finally did! I can tell these will last me a lifetime.

Bought the black in my usual size 9. I love the styling, the quality is amazing and I am hopeful that I will enjoy wearing them forever. My reservations are two-fold. First, the front toe box feels rather snug and I'm counting on the breaking-in period to soften that up. Secondly, the heel are slips a bit and causes a supremely annoying slapping sound on my calf. I tried some leg warmers and that helps so I should be good for winter, but I'm not sure yet if I'll be sporting these with summer skirts. Overall, a good investment, I think. I have a good Frye collection going and I've only ever been disappointed by the Melissa Boot (not true to size, very un-Frye-like fit).

Worth the investment!

It took me a little while to pull the trigger, but I’m so glad I did. The boots are exquisite and I know they’ll only get more beautiful with time and wear. I ordered my usual size and probably could’ve gone up 1/2 size to accommodate a thick sock, but I’m not going to bother with the exchange.
