Fit Issues
I rented a tux jacket from The Black Tux for my brother’s wedding and specifically made the trip from Wisconsin to their Chicago showroom to try everything on in person so the sizing would be accurate. The jacket I tried on there fit well, and there was only about a month between the fitting and when I received my order. I also did not gain or lose any meaningful amount of weight during that time. When the jacket arrived the week before the wedding, it fit noticeably smaller than the one I had tried on in Chicago even though it was supposedly the exact same size. I ultimately had to size up at the last minute. I genuinely do not understand how the showroom sample fit properly while the delivered jacket in the same size did not. The entire point of making the trip to the showroom was to avoid this exact kind of stress before an important event.

The jacket fit good but the custom fitting was pour.
The jacket was real nice, the XS worked out great. However the sleeves for the jacket were too long. I went in to get measured and they fitted me well, my expectations were high. I had to go to an outside taylor to modify the length of the sleeves. Great measuring, but pour execution.

The sleeve were too long
The sleeves were too long versus the measured in person length. I know I could have had it altered, but it should be correct from your representative at Nordstrom White Plains notes. She was nice, but was not that knowledgeable in knowing how men's garments are measured. This sounds like a corporate problem, as corporate is responsible for properly training their employees. It feels like the employees are trained to say yes to everything but not to resolve issues.
