The inside band (elastic) is not supportive at all. Thankfully the rucheing on this one, could help hold the girls in place a bit better, but I'm skeptical how much helpful stability it would actually give. Just don't count on any support from the inside band and cups. The very limp piece of elastic only goes across the front. And no, sizing up or down would not help the situation. This top may work for an A, B maaaaybe C cupped woman in a smaller size, but if you're bigger than that, based on the two tops I tried, this brand is probably not for you. Not to mention the cup inserts are oddly placed. Material is fine but for the price I had expected a little thicker. (Design is cute though.)
