2022+ Subaru Outback Wilderness Group 35 Battery Mount

Great battery box, gives peace of mind

I heard about Mele design from Ben on the Dirt Subies Podcast (Youtube). I have a 2024 OutBack Wilderness. I got the package, including the battery box along with the Full Throttle FT750-35 battery. It's a great, solid package. While I don't do any rally running in the big station wagon, I do sometimes bounce along pretty good the back roads/trails in central, north central Minnesota. The battery itself gives me the warm fuzzies when it comes to camping in the woods. I'm not worried about having the doors open, a lot, and not starting the car for a day or two. It still fires up immediately. Onces the temps dip below freezing, below zero even, having confidence that the battery will still work is a great feeling. Currently, the only extra draw I have on the battery are some Auxbeam and Harbor Freight lights. I am aiming to build a winch-in-a-box setup. I know I'll have the power to handle it with that battery and it looks so good sitting in that box!

Great in every way

Packaging was very good and made it unscathed all the way to the far southeast. Quality is outstanding and install is easy. Didn't see any instructions on the box but video is available online, which I always reference anyway. And it looks great in the engine bay.
