Changes not improvements

I purchased these to replace my worn pair from a few years ago. The previous generation pads had higher quality materials (like suede lowers for improved abrasion, and were less stiff (new not worn in). Overall these pads seem cheaper and not a better alternative to 187s like they used to. Double density foam is still a plus but the sleeve feels like it is going to have a short life. I would buy the old ones again, probably won’t get another set of these.

Construction of purchased item appears to be sound and functional. Based off appearance I will be purchasing more items in the near future. Thank you for having items for meh to purchase and I look forward to emailing customer service when my items don't arrive with dancing bears and fireworks. It's not the bears fault because he didn't know.

The straps fit good, however, the pad size seems too big for me.
