I love the 3/4 coat. I was given complements on the design, felt great. It's handling the Winnipeg Polar Vortex very nicely. I recommend the products, well made.

I love this parka

I genuinely love this parka. I wore the Bedi slat parka through a recent 60 cm snowstorm and the extended cold snap that has followed, and its performance has been consistently excellent. With only a T-shirt underneath, I was comfortable to −20 °C; with a sweater added, I am confident that the coat will meets its stated −30 °C rating and perhaps function well even beyond. The insulation-to-bulk ratio is exceptionally well judged and counterintuitive at first glance. Your brain doesn't recognize that a coat at this thickness can provide the stated level of warmth. The Econyl fabric offers a clean, modern aesthetic while still feeling durable and purposeful. It provides the type of unique look that I was hoping for (I ordered online). Details are handled with restraint: the seatbelt strap is subtle, and the angular hem at the cuffs is particularly well considered, providing added protection on the outer side of the wrist without compromising mobility or usability on the inside. The tall collar stands out for its effectiveness. It cuts wind and offers meaningful coverage, providing a reasonable compromise when worn without a hat, a detail that is often overlooked and rarely executed this well. I'd be remiss if I didn't also call out the amazing customer service. What started as an initial inquiry regarding sizing evolved into a month's long e-mail exchange with comments flowing both ways. Overall this is a carefully designed, bullet-proof coat built IN CANADA for CANADIAN WINTERS. I look forward to considering Bedi again for future purchases.

Excellent Winter Parka

I have had my SLAT 3/4 parka for a month and a half now. I have worn the jacket in 5°C and -15°C Toronto weather. My main uses cases are long walks with my dog and commuting 1.5 hours to work. Highly recommend this parka!!!! 5 stars, for sure. Aesthetically, it's a sleek and modern look with a tailored fit, no bulk. The material is unique and gives the color a unique pop. Nice on the touch and both looks and feels high end. Love that the simplicity of the design - everything you need but nothing extra to lug around. The hood is excellent with great coverage. The hood, when down, is great for wind protection and a cozy feeling on harsh winter days. The pockets are made of a soft material which also adds to the coziness. The two way zipper is very functional when walking around or sitting down. Easy to keep clean as well. Craftsmanship is top notch. Customer service was also top notch. Probably the most I have spent on a winter parka yet but ZERO!!! regrets. Don't see why it wouldn't last or still be stylish in 10+ years. I rarely leave reviews but the quality, design and craftsmanship deserves to be called out!! Great job to the Bedi Team for designing and crafting a parka that makes you want to get out during the worse days of winter.
