I am always a size 10 in shoes or a size 41. After reading the reviews that they are on the smaller size i went up a size and got size 11 or 42. Definitely needed. Would not have even been able to get my foot in a size smaller. Still extremely tight. Apparently the top of the shoe softens and moulds to your feet. I hope so! The sole is very comfortable but the upper is not comfortable at all yet. But saying that I’ve only had them on inside the house with sockettes to see how they go. My advice is definitely size up. Saying that - they are beautifully made and look stunning.
