Vintage Kantha Blanket Quilt

I love this blanket. I’ve been wanting to get more cotton bedding so I bought this blanket. It’s comfy and beautiful. My husband and kids love it too ( and take it to use themselves sometimes) it’s thin but not super thin.

I love the random patterns of this blanket, but it did arrive pretty smelly and the label advises spot cleaning only. I was brave enough to soak a corner in cold water and squash it between paper towels and the dyes, for sure any red/fuscia, was running. It’s soft and beautiful and smells like machine grease!

Absolutely LOVE this Kantha quilt! The colors are so bright and vibrant! Fits over a full size bed perfectly! Tag says "spot clean" but I washed it in the washer on gentle and hung to dry and it came out perfect and beautiful! The stitching is well done and strong. So happy with this purchase, will definitely buy another for myself and would make a perfect gift!
