This was the first time that I have tried the mystery axe. When checking out, I saw that there were hatchets available. I decided to go for it. $25 and I ended up with a military US stamped hatchet. I was very pleased ! Great deal and I love the hatchet

I got a used double bit from the mistery box. I am no expert and I really don’t know what I got. It is unmarked and it came without saying who made the axe or anything about it. I would never do it again. I have seen their website and I can pretty much find same things on Amazon with free shipping. Not impressed.

Very rough edge.

This puppy will need a ton of TLC to get back in shape. Looks like the last owner tried (and failed) to freehand a hand grinder to shape the edge. I am not expert enough to identify anything about this one, and it has no markings. It would have been cool if someone could have added a little info on it. Still, I look forward to cleaning it up and hanging it, as my next project. Thanks, guys!
