Matador Spinach Seeds

Highly recommend

This is my first time growing this variety. I am in Zone 9b and I am growing in a container. I generally grow all my greens as cut-and-come-again. I got my first harvest last week and I will be harvesting again in a week. All the seeds germinated, including the one stepped on by my cat. The leaves are tender and taste amazing.

So much fun to grow

I picked seeds that would be easy to grow with my toddler and these exceeded my expectations. The leaves were huge and easy to clean. They survived a harsh frost we had too.

My favorite spinach variety

Ever since discovering this variety of spinach i make sure to grow this one every year! I always plant the seed at the beginning of October since our summer heat comes way too soon in spring and holds on for way too long at the end of the year. They always germinate well and continue thriving through winter and all the way until next spring in my zone 7A.
