Nexus Level III+/RF1 8x10 ICW Plate

Great ICW plate

This is a great ICW plate. The actual dimensions are the full 8"x10" (both are a fraction over that number). It fits in my Safariland carrier in the 8x10 slot without trouble. It is small, but big enough to protect your heart. It does not get in the way of movement. I wish I got a bigger size for the back because it just covers the middle of my back and it feels like a lump when seated in a car. Using a precise scale, it weighed in at 2.2 lbs, so significantly heavier than the 1.8 lbs listed. Still, the weight/price equation is impressive.

I was worried it wouldn’t fit in my outer carrier and weight. Honestly, very impressed with it. Adds a small amount of weight to the overall carrier but doesn’t break your back. For the cost of the plate that I use everyday, it’s very doable on a budget.
