Nice boota but seem to run a bit big, trying the next size down and deciding after I compare

What could of been
The boots came with a cut in the leather that was obviously repaired. I’m not sure why the QC thinks that’s acceptable for 400$ boots. Tried to do an exchange though they were out of my size so I returned. The fit seemed fairly true. I wear a 11b in Redwing blacksmith and I would say this boot is a little wide for my feet. Not a dealbreaker though time would tell how the boots fit and feel after break-in. The boots craftsmanship seems to be excellent.
