i like them chunky and they need to feel the right weight. the looks, the working, the finish, all A class. this was my first purchase at Spinnaker but probably not my last. in terms of VFM, nailed it.

Hornet Yellow Dive Watch

Great watch. very heavy and substantial feel. Had to take out a few links on the bracelet as it was massive on my wrist, but I've done this before and it wasn't too much trouble. I have worn it pretty much every day since I bought it a couple of months ago and its never needed to be wound. I take it off at night and leave it unmoving for 8 or 9 hors so the power reserve seems OK. I wanted to buy a black rubber strap for it but Spinnaker don't sell one which is a shame. I love that its waterproof to 1,000 feet, I and I'm sure 99.9% of all the buyers will never test this, but its good to know I don't need to worry if I go swimming in it. It does tend to lose about 5 minutes a week and the luminescence on the watch doesn't work at night or in the dark, at least not for me, I guess its not been exposed to bright light enough, as its generally covered up under my sleeve, but other than that its perfect.

As this is now my 50th watch, I guess I can call myself a collector. I have watches from all over the world and at lots of prices, but I now have 10 Spinnaker watches-that tells you that I’m impressed with them! I love the quality and the reliability, the look and the feel. The Hornet is beautiful. It is different to the others I have-it is a bright, happy watch, but it still has the exceptional quality and finish. It’s a nice size and weight-looks great and most importantly, it makes me smile every time I check the time! I wanted something a bit special for the landmark number. Love it!
