Stainless Steel Wide Mouth Sprouting Jar Lid

These kits work very well for their purpose. As a jar sprouting newbie I'm having a wonderful time watching my food grow in front of me, knowing it's some of the most nutrient dense stuff I can get my hands on. The simplicity made possible by these items is also something that makes me question why I never knew about Jar sprouting until my late 30s when I found out earlier this year. I'm using these lids on 64oz jars and the size is true to any Wide mouth jar. The screen is fine enough for even most of the Amaranth seeds not to go through when draining out the water (and those are some tiny seeds). Next I think I'll try sprouting herbs to play with the flavors on my ferments, but the real kicker here is realizing that in the long run buying bulk salad mix seeds and jar sprouting them year round is going to provide a more nutritious and cost effective alternative to what most people are buying off the store shelves.

This fit my other wide mouth jars perfectly! I have my can sitting on the metal prop on a plate I already have. I got this 3 days ago and we are already growing sprouts! So glad this didn’t require something large sitting on my counter

You wouldn't think something as small as a new jar head would make a difference BUT IT DOES. It makes my Sprouting SO MUCH eaiser, I wish I had bought this years ago!
