This book was wonderful. My 4 year old made me read it twice and was completely riveted during the second half. The illustrations were really beautifully done, and the moral of the story was easy to follow and understand even for a small child.

Great story.

Great book! My daughter was SO happy to read about Black heart's backstory. The plot moved around well. I felt like there was a missed opportunity to explain the quicksand and Arthur's bravery/virtues a little bit better, but still a great book. Always happy to receive a BRAVE package!
