I have used this product in a small lake and had no trouble catching bluegill, crappie and bass. I would assume the scent attraction applied to the bait makes a big difference. Easy to cast with 4-8 pound test. Real it in or jig it up and down, either way worked well for me.

Got 4 different colors and caught a beautiful palomino with it! Love these already!
