High Performance and Great Workmanship at a Fair price
For its cost, the Liquid S HD is an excellent reel exceeding in performance and workmanship. I enjoy it’s balance with 9’ & 10 ft rods that permits a full day on the water casting streamers.

HD version
I have been a fan of lamson for many years now. I have a number of reels. I bought this HD version due to the solid frame for euro nymphing with long thin leaders. It was a great choice.

My 2nd Lamson HD for my 6W spey rod. Excited to get it out and use it. It's light, solid feeling, and no doubt will work flawlessly. My gripe is the lack of a neoprene cover. It comes with a velvet drawstring pouch which I'll never use. At $190, it should be included or perhaps just charge a few dollars more to include it. I don't mind purchasing a neoprene pouch separately, but the fact of it not being included SHOULD be stated in the product description.
