Rivian R1S/R1T Activated Carbon Air Filter

I am thankful to VION for selecting me as one of the recipients of their cabin air filter giveaway. This filter seems to be very well built and installation was a breeze! My R1T was in desperate need of a filter replacement so this was right on time! I look forward to breathing much cleaner air inside my truck now.

A very good cabin air filter.

This filter is quite good; the only minor issue I encountered was that it seemed maybe an eighth of an inch shorter than the OEM filter, and kept wanting to fall forward until I reinstalled the air funnel; but once installed, it really had a noticeably positive affect on the quality of air in the cabin. I could actually sense the freshness; there was that very faint whiff of clean I could smell in the air. Changing the cabin air filter in a Rivian R1T isn't exactly what I would call simple or easy, but neither is it nearly as difficult as some cabin air filters that require you to contort your body under the dash and reach awkwardly up and deep behind the console. In the R1T, you open the hood, pop off the large and long plastic bonnet in front of the windshield wipers, remove the air funnel (in 2025+ model years) then remove and replace the air filter, noting the printed arrows on the filter that indicate air flow direction, and install the filter so the arrows are pointing toward the cabin. Then reinstall everything in reverse order, aligning the plastic bonnet pins and holes and popping it back into place. Having noticeably clean and oder-free air in the cabin is a luxurious perk that will have a positive and welcome impact on your drive, especially if you travel through dirty or disagreeable air, or have allergies and are susceptible to pollen or smoke or other such irritants.

Perfect fit for the OEM unit. Carbon embedding is a great bonus for cleaning the air!
