Truly AWESOME! I have tried and tested so many products out there. This clutch XL reformulated version is absolutely AMAZING! The older formula was a bit waxy and heavy for people with finer to medium thick hair. This new formula is day and night compared to the old one! It's feather light weight, it's drier, but still well balanced. It is so responsive, your hair styles itself in a matter of a few seconds! It gives great volume, amazing texture, fantastic control and the scent is this very subtle "rum cinnamon" scent that is so unique and pleasant. It goes away quickly after application. It washes out super easily as it's water based. I have a sensitive scalp, but luckily, this has a very clean formula. It doesn't cause any scalp irritation nor itchiness, even if I go to sleep without washing it out. I've tried almost every product in the Salon Guy's line. And to be honest, I'd say this is his best product along with his tidal wave sea salt spray. Well done!

I am extremely happy Stephen brought this product back and in the original scent. It works just like a oil based heavy clay, but only needs one shampoo to get it out. Huge. This is the best performing (and smelling) water based clay out there and one of my top 3 favorite hair stylers of all time. Just remember to layer it in a little bit at a time. I highly recommend Clutch XL 👍🏼
