18K Gold-Filled Large Flat Stud Hoop Earrings

I love the way the earrings look but they are NOT gold-filled, it is a misrepresentation. Even before wearing them, I noticed an area where gold was worn off and grey metal was showing through. Gold-filled jewelry is supposed to have a thick layer of gold, with no metal underneath showing.
