Ported head is a true artwork!

I took my first test drive today with my newly installed ported head, and what a difference! I was already running the Stage 3.0 setup, but stepping up to the Stage 3.5 setup with the ported head is another massive leap forward. Even compared to 3.0, the increase in torque at low and mid-range RPMs is immediately noticeable. It pulls like a tractor now while still feeling incredibly smooth. I installed the ported head myself, along with the lighter valve springs, titanium retainers and Kibblewhite valves. I spent quite some time working on it, which makes the result even more rewarding. Special thanks to Ari for the excellent technical support throughout the process. The CRF300 now can also stay in a higher gear at lower speeds. Cruising at 40 mph in 6th gear is no problem at all.
