I'm new to Outrigger Paddling. I followed my coach's advice and bought a Kialoa. It feels good to paddle and appears flawless. I'm 6'4" with a long torso and long arms. I ordered a 56' paddle...and it is the right length. Next year a Dragon Boat Paddle!

I Love My Axel II

I had an earlier version of the Axel hybrid paddle which I loved. The Axel II does not disappoint. It's light and smooth through the water, provides a good catch up front.

Axel II

I've been paddling the Axel II for OC-1 and am loving everything about this paddle. It catches and releases so clean and is easy on my shoulders and elbows compared to some larger blades (for reference I am 5'10" and 165). I also like the subtle dihedral on the face of the blade that keeps it tracking smoothly in the water. Every Kialoa paddle I own is super high quality and performs as well as it looks. So grateful to Kialoa for their quality AND outstanding customer service. Thank you!
