Leash Unwrapping

Hello I had a leash I have used about 15 times unwrap from my ankle today. Kind of disappointed. The waves had a little kick but nothing more than average San Diego head high beach break. Not sure if the Velcro is not that great or? I don’t think it was full of sand. Anyhow. Thought I would give some feedback.
