Sound great!

As a cyclist, it’s important to have my ears unplugged for safety. Shokz make that possible while still enjoying music, podcasts and my favorite, audio books. These sound good, operate efficiently and seem to have plenty of battery life. The only downside for me is comfort as I can’t wear them continuously without pain developing where they press against my temples.

I've been using Shokz (back when they were AfterShokz) for years, and the primary reason I stick with them is situational awareness. With the OpenRun Pro 2, they didn't just iterate; they actually fixed the historical pain points of bone conduction technology. The Standout Features: The Sound (DualPitch Tech): Previous generations lacked low-end punch and vibrated intensely against your cheekbones if you cranked the volume. The new dual-driver setup splits the load. A bone conduction driver handles the crisp mids and highs, while a dedicated air conduction speaker delivers legitimate low frequencies. The result is a much richer, full-bodied sound with zero annoying facial vibrations. Battery Life: Playtime has jumped significantly. You easily get a solid 12 hours on a single charge now, making it a true all-day headset. Surprise Fast Charging: The unsung hero here is the charge speed. Shokz moved to a standardized USB-C port, and the throughput is incredibly fast. Even if you run them down to dead, plugging them in for just five minutes gives you a couple of hours of playback. They cycle from empty to full remarkably fast. If you are already a fan of the Shokz line, the acoustic improvements and the sheer speed of the USB-C charging make this a definitive upgrade. I wish these were waterproof so I could shower with them. The smaller size is super comfortable, I wouldn’t consider any other size. Sounds quality and microphone have imporoved as well!
