Like every other Kensui calibrated chrome plate, these 0.5 lb and 1 lb micro loading plates are shiny perfection. I have an E-Z curl bar that weighs 17 lbs and a smith machine bar at 33 lbs. I like using the micro plates to bring me to an even starting number so that I stay in increments of 5 or 10 as I add weight. I mean, come on, my training log looks weird with weights ending in 7 or 3… lol. My need for numerical symmetry is now met. :)
