Wilora – The Slip Joint

Probably the best value slip joint in Australia IMO. Have got 3 now. The Black version was the only one that wasn't so stiff that you couldn't open one handed but it was still a struggle, so opened them all up and gave a very small grind in one spot and perfect, so added a basic half stop as well. D2 not my first choice but still great for a folder and arrived super sharp in my preferred flat grind with micro edge. Love the look and especially having a good size finger choil. Wish they had a version in 14C28N stainless or even one of the Chinese 8cr stainless steels, along with some scales in other colours like orange or blue. 3.5 stars for the knife as it comes, 4 given the ease of improvements. 5 star for a slipjoint if it became available in 14C28N for an extra $10 or $20.

I really like the knife. Feels great in the hand and it's super light weight. Still feels strong. It's performed at everything I've used it at, both at home and out camping in the bush.

Perfect EDC for my pocket. Light weight, well made and super sharp. Perfect for cutting steak 😁
