Carbon X Trekking Poles

So far they work great. No problems whatsoever only had them out while walking our property following the horse trails through the woods. I will say for me without gloves on while using them the grips are little small for me I wear an xl glove for reference. I imagine they are made with hunting in mind in colder climates. Other than that I like them.

We purchased a pair to use on a trip to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctica. They performed perfectly. Strong, light, versatile. The Coup de Gras was the difficult and sometimes treacherous Shackleton hike where we traced the final leg of Ernest Shackleton's return to civilization after the Endurance ordeal. Great product! Just what we needed.

Carbon X Poles

So far so good. Been using them all shed season. They are as advertised. The only improvement that I can offer is personal preference. I like the head of the grip to have more of a swell to it as I have a habit of using them like a cane coming down hill. The heads are quite small and don’t palm well. I suppose I’ll have to use them like they are meant to be used…..
