MicroLux® Mini Miter Chop / Cut-Off Saw Review:

I immediately set up the C/C-O Saw within 30 minutes of delivery (well packaged for shipping) and am overall very pleased with my purchase (4.5 stars). A couple observations from my relatively short use of the saw are provided below to explain why I did not rate this very operational saw a 5: 1 - The instructions provided did not describe how to change from the steel saw cut-off blade to the abrasive Cut-Off Wheel. I had to go back to the Micro-Mark video to see how to install the Abrasive Wheel which I needed to the brass pieces I wanted to cut. 2 - The Steel cut-off Blade did not cut the brass tube well and I switched to the abrasive wheel which made a significant difference in speed. 3 - I am glad that I ordered replacement blades/wheels with my initial order to prevent frustration from having to place orders for the other blades/wheels and wait to use the saw for my project. Overall - this saw was a great addition of the speciality tools I use in my hobby.

Mini Cut-Off Saw

I am very happy with this saw. For years I've been using the HF mini chop saw. It works but has poor quality and is under powered. I was on my 4th when I found this one. It has been the perfect saw for me. I mainly cut stainless steel rod. 1/16"dia to 1/8"dia. I had made an arbor washer for the HF saw to use 1/4"dia blade/wheels and it fits on this saw.
