A break in period

I bought all 3 sizes of needle and nozzle combinations for my patriot 105. Each size needed a bit of break in or I did. Once I got used to it they sprayed well with good atomization. The names of the needle sizes are somewhat misleading. They refer more to the viscosity of the liquid you can spray rather than size of the line. The Patriot 105 is an excellent general airbrush. It can spray a good volume of color consistently. It can handle a wide range of paint types and is more forgiving with the viscosity of the media. I do recommend the generic plastic finger rest.. It fits the Patriot with a friction fit. I find it made the airbrush easier to hold and more comfortable. If you want a detail airbrush buy a Sotar 20/20.

Works great - same size as OLD (2014) silver ball

I thought this was smaller than my current silver (from 2014) ball needle, but it is the same. Still a great needle, and doesn't hurt to have a backup! This one is actually the blue ball one, despite the picture here being black. I'll just have to also order the black one... Excellently tucked into the shipping package by Daniel. Thanks!
