Hanes WSS are, consistently, high-quality, long-lasting, and have — oh yes — unparalleled softness! I have had many pairs of them for well over two decades and I wear them daily. They seemed nearly impossible to wear down, but now some are showing their age. I panicked when they became seemingly extinct, snapping them up on eBay whenever possible! I plugged them into my search engine about a week ago, hoping against hope to find at least one pair on eBay -- and suddenly there they were, on the Hanes site! I bought several pairs, lest they disappear again, which I fervently hope they do not! They are now even SOFTER. I am so very pleased!! P.S. I only wish they were available in solid periwinkle. I did snap up the ones with white clouds on them!
