TR Series Pioneer Axe with Pick not Great

I got this axe today and am not exactly sure what it was designed to do. I tried splitting with it and it is not good for that. Quality is good but the design is only average at best. Too light on hand, axe head shape is odd and too small. Maybe you will figure out its use but it just isn’t for me.

Incredible sharpness and perfect weight!

I am super happy with my pioneer axe. The quality of craftsmanship, materials, and attention to detail are evident. Put to work last week and this week clearing brush, thickets, and saplings. Perfect length for confined spaces!
