I love sound of SCGC strings. They last a long time. They are expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you get great deals. Watch for sales and great deals. I am paying much less than list price with a subscription. The pic I added is my Iris DF Smeck. A couple days ago I restrung it with SCGC Mid-Tension strings. Wow it sounded so good immediately!

I try out different strings. I went about with your common candidates; you know the brands. Then I circled back to the Santa Cruz midweights. I was surprised how playable they were, which I had forgotten on my journey. They also sound great. So. Win, win.
