London Midland Steam – 1948-1966

An interesting book that is OK.

There is nothing wrong with the book or its presentation, the captions are fine, interesting and some quite educational. However the photographs overall are mundane run of the mill that have proliferated books and magazines over the decades. Hence the 3 stars. Would love to have seen colour pictures within the presentation it would be given 4 stars.

Happy Memories

Probably the best book I have purchased from Strathwood, I was an avid train spotter as a child, mainly on the LMS region during the mid fifties and early sixties, brought back very happy memories.
