Oru gel seat is top notch, I would recommend it for a more comfortable paddling experience. Dealing with Ottawa Air Paddle was a pleasure, so easy, and the package arrived in a timely manner.

Comfortable Addition
I purchased the gel seat to give me an extra bit of height in the kayak and it works perfectly and has really added a bit of comfort to the bottom side of my ride, if you get me. I carry it with my float vest (its not part of the fold-up) and I would recommend it for a comfortable leisurely paddle.

The extra cushioning from this gel seat is quite nice. The seat is quite a bit thicker than the normal Oru seat, which requires it to be removed from the kayak when folded. Most of the time, it's worth the extra space to carry, but if you plan to hike somewhere with the kayak in its backpack, the regular seat will do fine.
