Everything about this mug is perfect

This is going to be a Christmas present, maybe a stocking stuffer since it's literally the size of my entire stocking. Can't wait to rock this travel mug, which is basically a carafe, as I drop the kids off at school and throughout the rest of my day. Plus, with the built in French press, I can make the cowboy blend I like best for myself, and I can make the flavor of the month for my husband separately. I definitely see this being a "hands off mommy's cup" mug from now on.

Not what I had hoped

Don't get me wrong. It makes great tasting coffee. The problem is the amount of coffee it gives you and doesn't give you. I drink 18 ounces of coffee each morning. So I put 18 ounces of water in my Mystic Monk Easy Clean French Press. I could tell I wasn't getting enough coffee, so I measured it. After pressing the coffee, only 12 oz comes out! 6 ounces stays trapped with the grounds. That means if I want to actually drink 18 ounces I'll have to put in 24 oz of water, which means adding extra grounds to keep the same strength, which means grounds for 6 oz are wasted. I'm going to ask if I can return it. But it does make great coffee, hence the reason for 3 stars instead of 1. If you're fine with not getting as much coffee out as water you put in, you'll probably be okay with this.
