These were a little different than our usual order. Two short zippers on either side rather than the wrap-around one across the toe. Holding up good so far. We used the SINGLESHOE code to get different shoe sizes.

We are new to AFOs as my adult dependent son has recently had neuro issues leading to their use. We have struggled with shoes fitting, getting them on and leaving marks with the AFOs. Then we heard about Billy’s from his therapist! Wow, best choice ever. My arthritic hands can get his shoes on, quickly, his feet no longer hurt and he transfers and balances better. He is just beginning to use a walker and relearn to walk after a year in a wheelchair and his steps, gait and balance are much better. He did not want to give up the brand of shoes he’s been wearing for many years, but he is now a big Billy fan!

My son finally has shoes that fit his DAFO! With his considerable build up in the heel, nothing has ever fit. I have always had to adapt and overcome as mom's everywhere do. Surprisingly, these hightops rather than low tops work best because it encloses his whole 3 inch wedge heel build up. The double zipper with adjustable laces actually does what I have done to his shoes over the years, but in a refined way that doesn't make him stand out for all the wrong reasons and he absolutely loves them, too. Thank you Billy Shoes!! We will be buying more.
