Etna SR

Legend Etna is great, I wanted to have an e-bike that has a long range of autonomy but that also offers a confortable ride in case I want to use it as a normal bike without electric assistance, and after using Etna for 1 week now it has proven it all ! I’m not a professional cyclist and I have done 96 miles so far in just many days ( that’s more than 150 km ) without really feeling any fatigue, while the battery is still on 78% ! Cz the way Etna is designed makes every ride so smooth without feeling any resistance so you basically would love to ride with electric assistance off sometimes and just enjoy it to the max.. and when you turn the electric assistance on that’s another story, it feels like a motorcycle hhhh and just the lowest level is so good and strong that you seriously won’t be using level 2 and 3 in cities at all !

I was looking for a folding bike for use on- and off-road (not rough/mountain terrain - I'm too old for that!) to take with me on my campervan trips. The main criteria were: 1) It had to fit in the rear garage area of the Ducato-based campervan, ideally without needing to raise the folding double bed 2) Be lightweight and reliable 3) Have a decent battery range And finally, at an affordable price! I'm in the UK and contacted Legend, and they confirmed that they would be happy for me to order the bike on a "sale or return" basis and try it for 30 days / 50 kms, with Legend covering the return transport costs from the UK should it not meet my requirements. From the reviews I'd read, I knew the bike itself was sound and would meet my needs - it was mainly a case of checking that it would fit in the campervan. I can just get it to fit with the front wheel still attached by laying the folded bike on its side. Should I need more flexibility in terms of occupied space in the garage area, I could do this by removing the front wheel. So I'm very pleased with it, and will be keeping it. My only slight criticism is that there's no clip mechanism to hold the bike in the folded position - not that I can see anyway! This makes it tricky to lift the bike up into the garage area space under the rear bed and maneouvre it about, as it keeps flopping apart! So I shall probably just use a Velcro strap to hold it in place. I also fitted a larger, more padded saddle for greater comfort! Other than that, this is a great folding bike and a very fair price, and with excellent customer service.

The legend Etna is a very innovative bike. The combination of folding frame, full size wheels, full suspension is great. One day its a nice fast urban cruiser and on the holidays it fits into our bus camper and performs well on our adventures!
