Esterbrook JR Pen - Carmine

I love this fountain pen. I only collect red fountain pens and when I saw this on sale I bought it ASAP. It wasn't as red as I thought, more on the pinkish side. The fine nib writes smoothly and because of the size it fits in my hand comfortably even when posted. The packaging it came in was a nice touch and shipping was fast.

After falling in love with the JR range, I began my quest to find every model released do far - and was delighted to come across this Carmine pen on the website which I believe was part of the earliest release. What a gem - and what a beautiful writer!
