4WD Kit for Backfire Hammer Sledge

Takes the skateboard to a whole new level. Going through trails with pretty sizable rocks and tree roots is a bit of a challenge with just the basic 2wd version(the 4wd add-on kit came a week later than the board so I tried it as 2wd). Having to adjust my weight front and back to stay on. With the 4wd it just goes over with ease while just standing. Also little pebble patches can cause you to stop and stay still if not going fast enough at 2wd drive but w 4wd it can go from a stand still. It can scale 30% shale rock hills with ease at a low speed. It’s honestly pretty nuts. I was VERY IMPRESSED. Worth the extra money no doubt.

-1)There was a glitch when pairing with a second remote where one of the rear motors got stuck on permament brake mode . I believe introducing the new front Esc and Motors contributed to this "pairing glitch/bug -2) .the Backfire Assemblers used too much Threadlocker and over tightened most of the screws o the left side of the motors and motor guard, and , bashguard . This prevented me from adjusting the belt tension. Very frustrating. Also the plastic motor guard had some screw so tight they couldnt be removed. Even one of the bashguard screw was so tight that the inner threads got destroyed when getting the screw out to put the front headlight on. Overall , the kit worked but it came with frustrstion of the overtightended screw and the emergence of a "motor lock while pairing bug". The board even made a synchronized melodic tone just before one of the motors did a slow rotational sequence and locked up . I eventually got it to unlock . The Backfire tech support had no idea this could happen or just refrained from commenting on it during the email communication. Instead they expecting me to just open up the battery compartment and send in the ESC like im some DIY'er or have the time and workspace/equipment to perform such a feat. All in all, it was still more trouble than the $400 dollar price tag .
