Howdy, thank you for the GSI Glacier Stainless Steel 8 Cups Camping Percolator that I have brought over the years which I really love that can be used while at home or the outdoor camping, as and just fits in with my country western home. Spoked to GSI Recommended with all Enamel, Stainless Steel Percolators in the home while brewing at low setting will help with longer life to the pot, that the top coffee lid, basket & cover, will become uneven, unstable, warp, due high heat with gas burner, electric burner. Another issue, with hard water the pot will get limescale chalky white which build up by broiling in time, GSI recommend using white vinegar, have question contact GSI on instructions. Happy Trails.

Enough for the family

This is sturdy no more bending and flexing an aluminum set up to make it work. Every part is quality from the pot to the site glass and the coffee basket. Just amazing all around.

over priced

Appears well made so will probable last. Have to hold sown the cover down when pouring or you'll get more coffee than you expected. Although the pot is sturdy, the basket and it's stand are rather flimsy.
